If you feel like you need some practical tools for self-care this is the place for you. Join our 6 week self-care programme for women, beginning on Monday 18th September.
Monday mornings: 10.30-12pm
The workshops will be held in the room beside the ballroom, and your children will be specially supervised as we’ll have additional PPC team members working on activities at this time.
What’s in store for you:
“Honour” (18 Sept): Self-care 101: Losing the “mom guilt”, nutrition, sleep, exercise, mental health & practical mindfulness.
“Food & Mood” (25 Sept): Mood-enhancing foods demo and tasting PLUS “Setting boundaries” workshop so you can prioritise how you spend your time rather than saying “yes” to everything.
“Re-balance” (2 Oct): Balancing hormones talk & daily meditations for mums. You will leave with a better understanding of your menstrual cycle and how to work within it to save your energy for where it’s needed.
“Unwind” (9 Oct): Anti-anxiety / CBT workshop & calming creative session. You will learn tools to deal with stress and anxiety, recognise your own triggers, and leave with a handcrafted item you made yourself.
“Accept” (16 Oct): Emotional eating talk & body image workshop. You will understand why you may comfort eat and learn tools to accept your body and love it unconditionally.
“Boost” (23 Oct): Immune-boosting natural remedies demo & life coaching. Using commonly found ingredients you will learn how to make a cough syrup, anti-viral teas and other natural medicines, plus identify the area in your life which you want to improve on the most and how to make positive changes.
